Craig Hamilton
Craig Hamilton is the owner of Woodland’s Butchery. After leaving school, Craig took up an apprenticeship at Don Street Butchery with Alister Burgess. He then worked as a butcher in England and New Zealand for over a decade before taking reopening Woodlands Butchery. Craig now owns both Woodlands Butchery and Isla Bank Butchery and heads a hardworking team of butchers who ‘are amazing… [they] just dig in and get it done’.
Craig Phillips
Craig Phillips has been working at Craig Hamilton’s butchery shops in some capacity ever since he was 12 years old and completed his apprenticeship under Craig Hamilton. Now 23, Craig is a fully qualified butcher and aspires to follow his boss’s career path, one day owning his own butchery.
Craig’s role is in team management and he runs the daily operations of the butchery when Craig is at Isla Bank. He is charge of organising staff, working with the daily operations of the business.
